Chicago Police Looking for Sinéad O’Connor

Update 6/24 8:20 a.m. Eastern: O’Connor has posted an angry Facebook message calling the police search and suicide threat allegations “bullshit.”

Chicago police are on the lookout for Sinéad O’Connor after Irish police reported to them that the singer has threatened to harm herself. Police scanner audio (via TMZ) indicates that O’Connor called family members in Ireland and told them that she was on a bridge in Chicago and intended to jump. The family members then called Dublin police, who in turn informed the Chicago police department. Last month, O’Connor went missing but was found by police “unharmed” after a missing-persons search in the Chicago suburb of Wilmette, Illinois.
