clipping. is the L.A. experimental hip-hop trio of rapper Daveed Diggs and producers William Huston and Jonathan Snipes. Diggs recently earned a great deal of fame outside of the group for his roles as the Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in Hamilton. This past weekend, he won the Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical–one of 11 wins by the Hamilton cast and crew. Today, Diggs is back to clipping., who have released a new EP called Wriggle via Sub Pop. It follows their 2014 LP CLPPNG. The six-track effort has features from Antwon, Cakes Da Killa, and more.
