Coachella 2017: Watch Pharrell Join Hans Zimmer for “Freedom”
Last night, Hans Zimmer made his music festival debut at Coachella. Backed by an orchestra, the legendary composer performed selections from his movie scores including The Lion King (featuring vocals from Lebo M), Pirates of the Caribbean, and Inception. He also invited Pharrell onstage for “Freedom.” (The pair have collaborated extensively, including work on the Hidden Figures score.) Watch clips of the performance below. Zimmer recently began his massive worldwide tour. In February, he appeared on “Colbert” to perform his music from the nature documentary series “Planet Earth II.”
