Coldplay’s Chris Martin Covers David Bowie’s "Life on Mars?" with Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show"

Coldplay were guests on a recent episode of “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.” A week after the band’s appearance, the show has shared a video of Fallon and Chris Martin covering David Bowie‘s “Life on Mars?” while backed by the Roots’ Captain Kirk Douglas on guitar. Watch the backstage performance—featuring Fallon’s spot-on Bowie impression—below. Martin previously sang Bowie’s “Heroes” on “Carpool Karaoke” With James Corden. Back in January, he revealed that Bowie turned down Coldplay’s request for a collaboration, because it was “not a very good song.”
