Converse Unveil New Sneaker With Built-In Guitar Pedal

Converse has unveiled its new “Chuck Taylor All Wah” sneaker, which features a built-in wah pedal. After a Critical Mass-designed prototype of the shoe appeared in 2013, the finished product, designed and developed by Cute Circuit, is here. It works using micro-sensor technology that tracks the flex of the sole, before communicating wirelessly with a Wah Box via bluetooth, according to a press release. It works with an amp, but can also be connected to a Mac or iPhone. Watch an old video of the prototype, which featured a few more cables, below.
