Crystal Castles to Release New Album This Spring, Announce New Shows

Crystal Castles‘ new album will be Ethan Kath’s first without former singer Alice Glass, who contentiously left the group last year. Today, the group announced the album will be out this spring. It features Glass’ replacement, Edith Frances, and was produced by Kath, with mixing by Lexxx. It will include last year’s “Frail” and “Deicide,” and will follow 2012′s (III), their last before Glass departed.

The band has also announced a round of North American festival dates, including a pair of shows at SXSW. Find those dates below.
