Damon Albarn Performs Concert for Androids

Damon Albarn‘s last album was called Everyday Robots, so it’s appropriate that robots feature in a new video collaboration with the Creators Project. Recently, Albarn did a performance at Japan’s Miraikan National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation. In the small audience were two androids.

The androids were Otonaroid, which looks like a female, and Telenoid, which has a more abstract looking human form. They both sat in the front row while Albarn performed. Otonaroid reacted to the performance, and at the end, she trades a bow with Albarn.

Albarn performed “Everyday Robots” from the new album, plus Blur’s “Strange News From Another Star”.
