Dave Grohl Will Not Perform With Anderson .Paak, A Tribe Called Quest at the Grammys

Earlier this week, the 59th Annual Grammy Awards announced that A Tribe Called Quest, Anderson .Paak, and Dave Grohl would all perform together at this year’s ceremony. Today, the Recording Academy and AEG Ehrlich Productions revealed that Grohl will no longer be a part of the performance, according to Billboard.

“Earlier this week, we announced that Dave Grohl would be performing with Anderson .Paak and A Tribe Called Quest prior to confirming all participants,” they said in a statement to Billboard. “Dave Grohl will not be part of this performance. Unfortunately, our announcement was made prematurely.” There is currently no word on whether or not Grohl will still perform at the ceremony.

The 2017 Grammys will be broadcasted live from Los Angeles’ Staples Center at 8 p.m. Eastern on February 12 on CBS. Along with collaborative performances from Daft Punk and the Weeknd, and Alicia Keys and Maren Morris, Adele, Bruno Mars, Metallica, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban will also take the stage during the ceremony. This morning, Chance the Rapper, Sturgill Simpson, Gary Clark Jr., and more were added to the list of performers. The show will be hosted by James Corden.
