David Byrne Dances to "Uptown Funk" at His Own Tribute Concert

Last night, Talking Heads leader David Byrne was the honoree at a benefit tribute concert at Carnegie Hall, staged to raise money for music programs for underprivileged students.

Byrne himself took the stage at the end of the night to lead a dance party to the strains of Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk”, which was gleefully performed by a marching band. Check out a video below, via Billboard. Also watch video of Sharon Jones doing “Psycho Killer” and Santigold doing “Burning Down the House”.

Other performers at the event included Sleigh Bells’ Alexis Krauss, the Roots, Cee-Lo, and more.
