Deerhoof have been busy this year. Their new album The Magic is out Friday via Polyvinyl. Earlier this year, they released Balter / Saunier—a collaborative album with Dal Niente. Now, they’ve shared a new song—their cover of Def Leppard‘s 1987 single “Pour Some Sugar on Me.” Yes, Satomi Matsuzaki sings the hair metal hit in its entirety, including these words: “Razzle ‘n’ a dazzle ‘n’ a flash a little light/Television lover, baby, go all night.” The music video below cuts between footage of Def Leppard and Deerhoof. Enjoy.
