Deerhunter Add Mysterious Clock to Website

Deerhunter have added a mysterious countdown clock to their website, Stereogum reports. The clock counts down to this Sunday, August 16, at 11 p.m. Clicking through from the front page leads to another page called “Faulkner“, with a gif of a smiling face-painted person who turns into a dog.

Deerhunter have not made any announcements, but there is speculation that the countdown could be for the details about forthcoming music. A new album would be the band’s first since 2013′s Monomania.
