Deftones Get Their Own Beer
Today, Deftones have announced a new beer made in collaboration with San Diego’s Belching Beaver Brewery. It’s called the “Phantom Bride IPA,” in reference to “Phantom Bride” from their latest album Gore. The beer is a “West Coast style India Pale Ale,” according to a press release, made from a mixture of hops (“Mosaic, Amarillo, Simcoe, and Citra”) that were handpicked by Chino Moreno. Below you can find an image of the beer. It will be made available at retailers on October 3.
Earlier this year, Chino Moreno played a special acoustic concert…in a volcano. Moreno also recently formed a supergroup with members of Bad Brains and Cro-Mags called Saudade.
