Disclosure, Jessie Ware, Chris Martin, Bono, Underworld, More on New "Do They Know It's Christmas?"

Here’s the 2014 version of the charity single ”Do They Know It’s Christmas?” by Band Aid 30, the all-star lineup of British artists put together by Boomtown Rats singer/activist Bob Geldof. The 30th anniversary version of the original recording raises money to fight the Ebola epidemic. (Donate here.) Watch the video below, after it debuted on the UK’s “The X Factor” tonight:

The Band Aid 30 “Do They Know It’s Christmas” features Disclosure, Jessie Ware, Robert Plant, Bono, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Sam Smith, Queen drummer Roger Taylor, Ellie Goulding, Underworld, Sinead O’Connor, Bastille, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Elbow, Rita Ora, Paloma Faith, Clean Bandit, Olly Murs, Seal, Jimmy Napes, Emile Sandé, Anélique Kidjo, Paloma Faith, and Fuse ODG, as well as Geldof’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas” co-writer Midge Ure. It was produced by Paul Epworth.

This charity single was originally recorded in 1984 to spread awareness of the famine in Ethiopia, and subsequently revisited in 1989 and 2004.

The single artwork is by Tracey Emin. The track will be available on iTunes tomorrow, with the CD single out December 8.
