DJ Quik Releases New EP, Says Kanye West Is "a Kardashian Now, What the Fuck"

DJ Quik has released a new EP with Compton rapper Problem, Rosecrans. The six-track effort features appearances from the Game, Wiz Khalifa, and more. To promote the EP, Quik stopped by the radio show “#NOAHTV,” and while there, shared his thoughts about Kanye West and his latest album The Life of Pablo. He asks rhetorically, “Who does an EP anymore?” before saying, “Kanye so scared he doesn’t know what to do with the fucking Life of Pablo. Let’s just keep this shit all the way fucking 100.” He and the host then agree Pablo is not West’s best album (the host likes it more than Yeezus, but not as much as 808s & Heartbreak). Eventually, Quik concludes:

So, his celebrity supersedes his talent right now? Yes. Come on, he’s a Kardashian now, what the fuck. What he gonna do to me? Beat me up? It’s Kanye. See, this is a challenge. This ain’t a diss, it’s just a challenge. Make your best music, because fans aren’t stupid. They’re just not.
