DJ Shadow Announces 20th Anniversary Endtroducing... Reissue, Shares Clams Casino Remix of “Stem / Long Stem”: Listen

Earlier this week, DJ Shadow announced a remix album of his 1996 debut Endtroducing…, featuring contributions from artists including Clams Casino and Hudson Mohawke. He revealed the album during a talk with Clams for the latest episode of the Talkhouse Music Podcast, premiered on Pitchfork Radio. The remix album is a part of a 20th anniversary Endtroducing… reissue package called Endtrospective. It’s out October 28 via Island. You can listen to the Clams Casino remix of “Stem / Long Stem” below.

Endtrospective comes in three CD and six LP packages that include the original album, a collection of demos, alternate takes and live versions, and the remix album, which is titled Endtroducing… Re-Imagined. In addition to the Clams Casino and Hudson Mohawke remixes, it features remixes from Prince Paul, Teklife, Adrian Younge, and Salva, among others. Find the full tracklisting below. The new reissue will also have expanded liner notes and an interview between Shadow and Eliot Wilder, who wrote the 33 1/3 book on Endtroducing…

This year, DJ Shadow released The Mountain Will Fall. He’s also on tour; find those dates below, including a show at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris. Buy tickets to the festival here.
