Donald Glover Making New Animated Deadpool TV Show

Earlier this year, FX Productions announced that Donald Glover had signed a deal with the network, following the success of his FX show “Atlanta.” While the second season of “Atlanta” was delayed until 2018, part of the deal included the creation of a new TV show for FXX. It has now been announced that Donald Glover and his brother Stephen Glover will write, executive produce, and serve as showrunners for an animated comedy series based on Marvel’s Deadpool, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The first season is set to debut in 2018 and will span 10 episodes. Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chorry will also serve as executive producers.

Glover is also set to star as Lando in the upcoming Star Wars movie. Earlier today, he revealed the details of the virtual reality vinyl edition of his latest Childish Gambino album, “Awaken, My Love!”.
