Drake’s Dad Stars in Music Video for Arkells Song "Drake’s Dad"

The Canadian band Arkells have just shared a new music video for “Drake’s Dad,” a song on their upcoming album, Morning Report, out August 5 via Last Gang Records/eOne. Yes, the video features Dennis Graham, father of you-know-who. It features members of the band partying with Dennis all across Memphis, and is inspired by a true story. Arkells frontman Max Kerman shared a note on the experience that inspired it all, in a press release: 

Last summer I was on a road trip with my best friends through the American south, and in the magic of the night, we happened to meet Drake’s dad – Dennis Graham – in a Memphis bar…He couldn’t have been more gracious, especially given that there were 16 of us, drunk on friendship and cheap American beer. This chance encounter inspired this song.
