Drake’s More Life Goes No. 1, Sets Streaming Record

Drake once again has the No. 1 album in America, Billboard reports. What’s more, the “playlist” set a new streaming record. More Life sold 505,000 equivalent album units in the first week of its release. Of that total, 257,000 units came from streaming services. More Life’s streaming total tops the previous album streams record holder, VIEWS (which launched with 163,000 streaming equivalent units). More Life is Drake’s seventh album to debut at No. 1, and it’s the biggest sales week for any album since VIEWS sold over 1 million album equivalent units in its first week.
