Eazy-E’s Daughter Launches Kickstarter to Raise Money for Documentary Investigating Her Dad’s Death

Eazy-E died in 1995 due to complications resulting from AIDS. Over 20 years later, his daughter Ebie Wright wants to investigate the circumstances surrounding her father’s death in a new documentary, Rolling Stone reports. The film is called A Ruthless Scandal: No More Lies, and is currently seeking a $250,000 backing on Kickstarter.

Wright told Rolling Stone that the documentary is “mainly about the scandal surrounding my father’s death.” According to the description, the film will also include “shocking facts and recollections from key people who were connected to the story,” as well as a dramatized retelling of Eazy’s final days. “The FACTS are simply jaw dropping,” it promises. In addition, Wright says that she will shine a light on how her family has fared since Eazy’s passing.

In exchange for support of A Ruthless Scandal: No More Lies, Wright is offering a number of rewards, including a “pristine” original version of Eazy-E’s obituary for a $3,000 contribution. For $5,000, supporters can spend a day with Wright and one of Eazy’s old friends in hip-hop, which could include DJ Quik, Warren G, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, or Too $hort.
