Ed Sheeran has been sued over his 2014 hit song “Thinking Out Loud,” TMZ reports. The family of Ed Townsend, the co-writer of Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On,” have reportedly accused Sheeran of lifting melody, harmony, and rhythm compositions from Gaye’s 1973 hit for “Thinking Out Loud.”
