Eluvium Shares "Life Through Bombardment Vol. 2" Video

Eluvium has shared the video for his Life Through Bombardment Vol. 2 box set. It accompanies a forthcoming collection of the same name, highlighting recordings made since the release of the first Life Through Bombardment set in 2009. The video is directed by Jeremy deVine and features the making of the limited edition vinyl. The box set is out now via Temporary Residence. Matthew Cooper, the artist behind Eluvium, had this to say about the video:

It was kind of a dream to be able to create the first box set several years ago, and as the years have passed the first set has come to stand as an important totem for a specific time that I care for dearly. It seemed only appropriate and timely to create its companion piece.

This time I wanted to go a little further – include some rare material, as well as some tracks that no one had heard before – to give it a bit more character.  Quite a lot of people have asked for Nightmare Ending on vinyl, or Static Nocturne, or Similes, etc…so it’s nice to have them all released on vinyl for the first time. It feels like it all came together at the right moment.
