Explosions in the Sky to Co-Score David Gordon Green’s Manglehorn, Starring Al Pacino

Explosions in the Sky are no strangers to scoring David Gordon Green’s films—just two years ago, they collaborated with composer David Wingo (of Ola Podrida) on the score for Green’s comedy-drama Prince Avalanche. Now, the band are teaming up with with Wingo again to score Manglehorn, Green’s forthcoming drama starring Al Pacino as an ex-con faced with one more “big job.” It’s in theaters June 19, while the soundtrack will be released digitally by the band on June 22 with a physical release planned for later this year through Temporary Residence.
