Father John Misty Announces World Tour

Father John Misty has announced a new batch of international tour dates behind his forthcoming record Pure Comedy. In addition to the previously announced European and North American concerts, FJM has even more U.S. and Canada dates in September and October, as well as European shows in November. Tim Heidecker, Hamilton Leithauser, Jenny Lewis, Phosphorescent, Dams of the West (aka Vampire Weekend’s Chris Tomson), and more will join Misty for select dates at the beginning of the tour, while Weyes Blood (aka Natalie Mering) will support him for nearly all dates in the fall. Check out his full itinerary below.

Pure Comedy is out April 7 via Sub Pop/Bella Union. Below, watch him perform “Ballad of the Dying Man” on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.” Check out our new feature interview with FJM.
