Father John Misty Covers the “Squidbillies” Theme Song: Listen

Last month, Father John Misty, Kurt Vile, Sharon Van Etten, the B-52’s, Jimmy Cliff, and Rebecca Schiffman were announced as some of the acts who will cover the “Squidbillies” theme song for the Adult Swim show’s upcoming season. The first episode airs on Sunday, July 10 at 11:30 p.m. Eastern. Ahead of the premiere, Adult Swim has shared Father John Misty’s version of the theme song, set to the show’s opening sequence. In past seasons, Neko Case, Lambchop, and Band of Horses have covered the show’s theme.
