Following Ryan AdamsFather John Misty is the latest indie musician to get in on the Taylor Swift covering craze: He’s just shared his version of “Blank Space”, which you can check out above. “My reinterpretation of the classic Ryan Adams album 1989,” he wrote on SoundcloudUpdate: And now, hear his version of “Welcome to New York” below.

If the attached single art (seen below) wasn’t enough, listeners might note that it riffs on the melody for the Velvet Underground’s classic “I’m Waiting For the Man”
