FKA twigs Announces Soundtrack 7 Film Premiere

Last year, FKA twigs performed a seven-day residency at Manchester’s Old Granada Studios, as part of the Manchester International Festival. For the performance, called Soundtrack 7, she created and filmed a new dance piece each day. Now, some of those films have been collected into a new 52-minute feature, also titled Soundtrack 7, BrooklynVegan reports. It premieres August 3 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. The “abstract autobiographical piece” includes her performances set to EP2 cuts “How’s That” and “Ultraviolet,” and 2016 track “Good to Love.” In addition, she will debut a self-directed short film featuring four songs from the M3LL155X EP.
