Florence and the Machine have announced How Big How Blue How Beautiful, the follow-up LP to 2011′s Ceremonials. It’s out June 2 in the US via Republic and June 1 in the UK via Island. You can check out the tracklist below. Florence has also shared highly dramatic video for first single “What Kind of Man”, directed by Vincent Haycock and choreographed by Ryan Heffington, which you can also see below. (Watch out: It contains brief nudity.)

The album was produced by Markus Dravs (Björk, Arcade Fire) and features arrangements from Goldfrapp’s Will Gregory. Paul Epworth, Kid Harpoon, and John Hill also worked on the album. Earlier this week, Florence shared an album teaser. Also watch that below.

In a press release, Florence said:

I guess although I’ve always dealt in fantasy and metaphor when I came to writing, that meant the songs this time were dealing much more in reality. Ceremonials was so fixated on death and water, and the idea of escape or transcendence through death, but the new album became about trying to learn how live, and how to love in the world rather than trying to escape from it. Which is frightening because I’m not hiding behind anything but it felt like something I had to do.
