Florence Welch Breaks Foot at Coachella, Alters Florence and the Machine Tour Plans

During Florence and the Machine‘s set at Coachella over the weekend, Florence Welch jumped off stage and, according to a Facebook post, broke her foot in the process. “Unfortunately while this heals, my performances will have to be somewhat stripped back,” she writes.

In the note, she says that she’s “devastated,” but will still do the shows. She says she’ll likely be fully healed by Glastonbury. “I understand this is not what you were expecting, but I hope it’s just as enjoyable,” she writes. “This album was so much about making something from what was broken, so lets see what we can do with this.”
