Footage of DJ Rashad Making a Beat in 10 Minutes Surfaces

Tim and Barry are behind a new footwork documentary called I’m Tryna Tell Ya. It features footage of the late DJ Rashad, plus DJ Spinn, Traxman, DJ Manny, and others—watch the full film below. While they were in Chicago, they also filmed an installment of their “Beat This” series, which challenges DJs to create a beat in 10 minutes. Tim and Barry told The Fader about the footage:

“We went to Chicago to film episodes of Beat This, interviews, mixes and footwork battles. It was an incredible trip. When we got home and started reviewing the footage, we realized we had enough to make a full length documentary and began the edit.”
