The new Kanye West album, The Life of Pablo, was launched this afternoon at an event at Madison Square Garden. Kanye played the album off of his laptop as a crowd of models showed off his latest fashion line. The album features Frank Ocean, Chance the Rapper, Rihanna, Future, Kirk Franklin, Post Malone, Ty Dolla $ign, Young Thug, The-Dream, Kid Cudi, and more.

Young Thug and Naomi Campbell were models in the show, and guests in the audience included Frank Ocean, the entire Kardashian/Jenner clan, Vic Mensa, Pusha T, Big Sean, and more.

Following the album premiere, Kanye announced that he is launching a video game about his mother ascending to heaven.

06 Feedback

07 FML

In this song, Kanye alludes to no longer taking Lexapro, a frequently prescribed antidepressant.

08 Real Friends

“Real Friends” was produced by West and features Ty Dolla $ign, with “sample by Frank Dukes and Boi-1da” and drum programming by Havoc. It surfaced January 8 on Soundcloud, only to be taken down (and put back up, and then taken down again, and then put back up again), until finally being uploaded to his website and SoundCloud—for good—the same afternoon.

09 Wolves

Like Fade, “Wolves” first surfaced at one of West’s fashion events: the unveiling of the Yeezy Season 1 last February. The song features Frank Ocean, but Sia and Vic Mensa—with whom West performed the track on “Saturday Night Live” just days after its runway debut—appear to have been cut. It features the lines “Cover Nori in the lamb’s wool/We’re surrounded by the fuckin wolves.”
