Frank Ocean Hints at New Album Release Date

Frank Ocean Hints at New Album Release Date

Frank Ocean has teased a possible release date for his long-awaited follow-up to Channel Orange. This morning on his Boys Don’t Cry website, which has been dormant since its appearance last July, Ocean shared a new post titled “Late”—the first official hint at progress in a year. The image is a library due-date slip, listing chronological dates running from last July to this month, with the latest date smudged. An earlier date stamp breaks the pattern: November 13, 2016. Check it out below.

Ocean’s Channel Orange follow-up has been coming since last year, when he announced the record would be released in July, a deadline that came and went. More recently, Ocean contributed to James Blake’s record The Colour in Anything, on which he co-wrote the songs “My Willing Heart” and “Always.”
