Frank Ocean’s Father Sues Russell Simmons

Frank Ocean‘s father Calvin Cooksey has sued Russell Simmons for $142 million, TMZ reports. Cooksey says he’s been portrayed as a deadbeat dad and “horrible father” on Simmons’ website Global Grind and is suing for loss of future income.

Cooksey has reportedly said that Ocean’s “money grubbing mother” kept Ocean from Cooksey and didn’t allow him to be a father. He describes himself as a singer, writer, and inventor.
