Future Islands and Sam Smith Perform on Austin City Limits

Future Islands and Sam Smith were featured on tonight’s episode of Austin City Limits. Future Islands played six songs from last year’s Singles LP, including the epic “Seasons (Waiting on You)” as well as “Back in the Tall Grass”, “A Dream of You and Me”, “A Song For Our Grandfathers”, “Spirit”. They also played “Balance” from 2011′s On the Water.

Sam Smith’s five-song opening set included his Disclosure and Nile Rodgers collaboration “Together”, a cover of Whitney Houston’s “How Will I Know”, and “Nirvana”, “Money on My Mind”, and “Stay With Me”, from last year’s In the Lonely Hour.
