Future Islands Perform With Strings and Brass for 4AD Session, Expand Tour
Future Islands have recorded an installment in the 4AD Sessions video series. They perform several cuts from this year’s Singles accompanied by a string quartet and brass section. Below, watch performances of “Sun in the Morning”, “Doves”, “Light House”, “A Song for Our Grandfathers”, and “Seasons (Waiting On You)”. It was directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, who recently helmed the Nick Cave documentary 20,000 Days On Earth.
