Future Sued Over Alleged Contract Breach

Future is being sued by rapper Rocko over an alleged contract breach, as TMZ reports. Rocko, who owns Future’s former label A1 Recordings, claims that Future’s 2011 contract was for six albums. He claims the contract was violated due to a joint deal with Epic Records. According to Rocko, the Epic deal was originally signed to distribute albums, but Future cut a separate deal with Epic for record advances that cut A1 Recordings out of its profits. Rocko says he’s owed 25 percent of Future’s Epic advances, and an additional 20 percent of Future’s earnings from touring and endorsements. The lawsuit is reportedly for more than $10 million. This evening, Future sent out multiple tweets that alluded to the lawsuit.
