Gorillaz Invite You to Visit Their Real-Life Spirit House

When Gorillaz returned to announce their new album Humanz, which is out April 28, they shared a series of new songs. Their video for “Saturn Barz” was titled “Spirit House”—a psychedelic visual where Murdoc, 2D, Russel, and Noodle crash in a seemingly haunted house. Now, Gorillaz and Sonos have announced that three actual “spirit houses” will pop up around the globe. The fan experiences will take place in Brooklyn from April 21-23, Berlin from April 28-30, and Amsterdam on May 6. A press release describes the houses as “immersive, high fidelity” happenings in “raw spaces” that will feature exclusive music, custom artwork, physical installations, and digital projections. Entry is free, but you’ve got to RSVP here. Find a trailer below.

“Come and bathe in high-tech sound, feast on unearthly visuals, and let the experience take you on the ultimate trip,” bassist Murdoc Niccals said in a statement.
