Grammys 2017: Chance the Rapper Wins Best New Artist

Chance the Rapper has won Best New Artist at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards. He got the win over Anderson .Paak, the Chainsmokers, Maren Morris, and Kelsea Ballerini. Chance’s Coloring Book was also nominated for Best Rap Album. Earlier in the evening, he won Best Rap Performance for “No Problem.” Last year, the Recording Academy changed the rules of Grammy eligibility so that streaming-only releases like Coloring Book could be considered.
