Grammys 2017: Kanye West and Rihanna Shut Out
The 59th Annual Grammy Awards have come and gone. Adele won every award she was nominated for (and expressed regret that Beyoncé didn’t win Album of the Year instead). Chance the Rapper also had a big night, winning Best New Artist and Best Rap Album. Less fortunate were Kanye West and Rihanna, who both won nothing despite several nominations. Rihanna had eight nominations total, including a nomination for Record of the Year. Kanye was up for five awards and competed against himself in three of those categories. Kanye did not appear at the show; Rihanna was in attendance.
