Green Day Announce New Album Revolution Radio

Green Day have a new album on the way. The follow-up to ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tré!, their 2012 musical trilogy, is called Revolution Radio, revealed in a new Rolling Stone interview with frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. It’s out October 7 via Reprise. Hear the first single, “BANG BANG,” below. In the past few years, Green Day have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, released a Christmas single, and documented their return to the studio. Fans began to speculate that the album would be called Revolutionary Radio when the band captioned an Instagram post “#revrad.”

“Of course the world has lost its collective mind… and me, Mike and Tré are lost souls too,” Armstrong said in a press release. “Revolution Radio is a movement for lost souls to come together… dance together… sing together… and most of all, find each other.
