Grimes Walks Off Stage at Barclays Center

Last night, Grimes opened for Florence and the Machine at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. Her set was cut short, however, after she walked off stage during a performance of “World Princess part II.” “We just had a really disturbing thing happen to us today, so sorry if my voice is shaking, it’s just kind of a fucked day,” she said while introducing the song, as Brooklyn Vegan points out. She added she was having “a little trouble keeping it together.” Watch video of her performance and comments below. When asked to give comment or information, a Grimes spokesperson told Pitchfork, “Unfortunately we cannot.”
