Grizzly Bear Heading Into the Studio for First New Album in Four Years

Following their endorsement of Bernie Sanders yesterday, Grizzly Bear announced this morning they’re heading into the studio next month with “tons of songs” to record a new album. The record will be the followup to the excellent Shields, which came out in 2012. In their first tweets since August last year, the band doubled down on their Bernie endorsement and reassured fans about the band’s future. “We r passionate to make amazing music for years to come! And we are passionate about changing the political system in the US,” they tweeted. They also shared news that bassist Chris Taylor is now a father.
