Grizzly Bear’s Daniel Rossen Shares Preview of Valedictorian Film Score

Grizzly Bear/Department of Eagles member Daniel Rossen is responsible for the score of an upcoming film called Valedictorian. Directed by Matthew Yeager, the film, as Rossen describes it, ”is the story of a young man that slowly walks away from his life in New York and fades into the background of the city over the course of a year.”

The movie is split up into 12 scenes coinciding with the months of the year, and Rossen provided a short piece of music for each. That’s the music for July above via Stereogum.
