Guided by Voices have broken up once again, as Cleveland.com reports.

A post on the Guided by Voices website reads:

Guided By Voices has come to an end. With 4 years of great shows and six killer albums, it was a hell of a comeback run. The remaining shows in the next two months are unfortunately canceled. Our sincere apologies to those that have purchased tickets and made travel plans. Thanks to everyone who has supported GBV.

The band had U.S. fall tour dates scheduled through November.

Guided by Voices’ “classic lineup” first reunited in 2010 for Matador Records’ 21st anniversary, after breaking up at the very end of 2004. Their reunion albums included Cool Planet, Motivational JumpsuitEnglish Little LeagueThe Bears for LunchClass Clown Spots a UFO, and Let’s Go Eat the Factory.

Turmoil plagued the band last year, when drummer Kevin Fennell attempted to sell a drum kit on eBay for $55,000.
