Tonight, the Philip Glass-curated Tibet House Benefit took place at New York’s Carnegie Hall. Iggy Pop, FKA twigs, Philip Glass, Sharon Jones, Basia Bulat, and others performed. During the show, Iggy Pop covered David Bowie‘s “The Jean Genie” with members of the Patti Smith Group. Later, he sang Bowie’s “Tonight” with Sharon Jones. Find footage from the concert below.

Update (2/23 10:32 a.m.): Introducing “Tonight,” Iggy says, “[This is] another lyric, another song of his, words and music. I was lucky enough to record it first but with his help and guidance. He did it himself later with Tina Turner. It’s a wonderful, elegant song with a deceptively simple lyric, and I think it’s the right lyric for right now and for tonight, and it’s called ‘Tonight.’”
