Insane Clown Posse Plan Washington D.C. Protest March

In 2014, Insane Clown Posse filed a lawsuit against the FBI and U.S. Justice Department, insisting that the government’s decision to classify their fan base—the infamous Juggalos—as a “loosely organized hybrid gang” in a 2011 FBI report was “unwarranted and unlawful.” Their lawsuit was eventually dismissed that year, though they won a 2015 appeal. ICP is still fighting the war. During the annual Gathering of the Juggalos, which took place over the weekend, ICP’s Violent J announced the group’s plans to lead a march through Washington D.C. in protest of the FBI, as the Detroit News reports (via Rolling Stone). The march will take place September 17, 2017. “They call the Juggalo World a movement, right?“ Violent J reportedly said. “Well, let’s move!”

The march will begin at the Lincoln Memorial, and end at the Washington Monument. “We don’t know what’s going to happen,” Violent J said. “We could totally embarrass ourselves, and there could be 25 people.” That weekend, the group also plans to host a picnic for fans, and perform in Bristow, Virginia.
