Jack White Plays in Celebrity Baseball Game

Jack White likes baseball. He invested in a baseball bat company, helped refurbish Detroit’s Clark Park, attended a Cubs game, and got his own baseball card for the time he threw out the first pitch at a Tigers game. Yesterday, Jack White and his team the Third Man Triples (wearing yellow and black uniforms) played in designer Billy Reid’s celebrity baseball game at the University of North Alabama’s field, Al.com reports. Thus far there’s no footage of the game, and there’s no word on whether or not Jack made a home run. Find photos from the game below.

Last month, Jack White launched a playing turntable into space. His Acoustic Recordings album is out September 9.

The Third Man Triples in all its glory. Thanks for an amazing afternoon, @billy_reid & @warsticbaseball #thirdmantriples
