Jack White’s Third Man to Release Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail as 7″ Box Set
Back in 2013, Jack White‘s Third Man Records announced it would release the vinyl edition of Jay Z‘s Magna Carta Holy Grail. Two years later, it’s finally coming out.
The release consists of eight 7″ records that come in a clothbound binder, featuring scratchoff pages that reveal lyrics and photos. It was designed by Brian Roettinger, who also did the cover art for Magna Carta Holy Grail. A press release notes that the set plays on “the theme of redacted government documents.” Below, you can watch a trailer that explores the product.
The release will be limited to 1000 copies. It’s available March 20 to celebrate the expansion of Third Man’s flagship store in Nashville.
