Jai Paul and Brother A.K. Paul Launch New Project Paul Institute

Jai Paul and his brother A.K. Paul have launched Paul Institute, as Disco Naivete points out. Pitchfork can confirm that Paul Institute is, in fact, a new project from the brothers, but it is not clear yet just what, exactly, it is. For now, visitors can input their phone number into the site and wait for… something. 

We’re still waiting for the follow-up to Jai Paul’s two singles,”BTSTU” and “Jasmine.” What purported to be the artist’s debut album appeared on Bandcamp in 2013, comprising 16 untitled tracks (among them the aforementioned singles and a cover of Jennifer Paige’s “Crush”). But that upload was shortly removed, with Jai Paul tweeting that the release was unauthorized. (In fact, that remains his only tweet.) Meanwhile, A.K. Paul has also released his own music, including a collaboration with Nao. Most recently, the Pauls were pictured hanging out with Miguel.
