Jamila Woods, Noname, RP Boo Playing Pitchfork and MCA Chicago’s Prime Time: Ascend
The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago hosts an after-hours event series called Prime Time, featuring exhibitions from artists, filmmakers, and other creatives from the Chicago area three times a year. The next event, Prime Time: Ascend, is a night of music curated in collaboration with Pitchfork and featuring three Chicago artists. Jamila Woods, Noname, and RP Boo will all perform. Audio Jack of Slo’Mo Party, Adachi Taiko, and Homme are also set to play.
In addition to the musical performances, Ascend will include exhibitions from local artists, as well as food and drink offerings throughout the museum. It goes down at the MCA on November 19 and begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are available here. Prime Time is supported by MailChimp.
