John Cale Enlists Animal Collective, the Libertines, More for Velvet Underground & Nico Concert in Paris

On April 3, John Cale will perform the Velvet Underground & Nico’s classic debut album at the Philharmonie de Paris. Today, he’s announced a lineup of special guests: Animal Collective, the Libertines’ Pete Doherty and Carl Barât, Mark Lanegan, Etienne Daho, Lou Doillon, and Lemon Jelly’s Nick Franglen. The artists will perform together with Cale. Meanwhile, the Philharmonie will host a corresponding exhibition on the Velvet Underground. (Tickets to the show are currently sold out.)
